New winter hours Tues, Thurs, & Sat, 9:15 to 2:30, Red is recovering from surgery on his foot and should soon return to the shop.
Larry is house hunting and needs some time off, so until spring this will be our schedule. you may make an appointment to meet at other times.

The very beginnings of Red’s

Finally done.1979 Schwinn Magaloy Scrambler SX100 . Full restoration excluding seat, handlebars and grips. This I classify as patina and gives the bike a little character and some continuity with its past. Turned out well.
My painter was spot on with the color, almost unbelievable but perfect. Nice job Jeff.

I’m sorry to say Red’s lost another friend and integral part of the store. I was told this week that my friend Gary Klawon has passed away.
Gary was a great guy and most definitely will be missed.

Thursday we lost an important part of the beginnings of Red’s and my wife’s father. Dean Haire was a man you could count on. He was an integral part of the forming of this shop. He will be greatly missed.

It’s hard to believe that Red’s has here for 4 1/2 years. It seems like only yesterday we opened the doors for the first time. Since then we have sold many new and used bicycles and countless repairs , not to mention several restorations. Thank you all for your patronage and being part of this place we call Red’s. Here are some photos of some of the restorations we’ve had the privilege of doing.

Another restoration complete. I love bringing older bikes back to life, and thank you Bob for allowing me to bring these jewels back from obscurity. So far I’ve restored two of your bicycles and serviced a third and one left to get painted and take its place with the others as fully functional restored riders . Thanks for the opportunity to work on your bicycles.
