There’s a certain kind of anticipation only an upland hunter knows.
The dog knows it, too.
It’s in the first cool mornings, the old collar coming off the hook, and the way a bird dog still seems to remember every field from last season. Soon enough, the two of you will be walking the cover again—reading the wind, following a good nose, and sharing those quiet moments that only a hunter and his dog understand.
Until then, there’s plenty of time to dream about the next walk.
Because the love of upland hunting isn’t measured in birds brought to hand. It’s found in the bond between two partners who are always ready for the next field.
