In August, the City of Eastvale welcomed representatives from the National Paralympic Committee of Portugal as part of the organization's ongoing efforts to identify potential training and
accommodation locations for the 2028 Los Angeles Paralympic Games.

Working together, the City of Eastvale, Jurupa Community Services District (JCSD), Corona-Norco Unified School District (CNUSD), hospitality partners, and local businesses demonstrated the collective resources available to support international athletic delegations preparing for competition.

While the National Paralympic Committee of Portugal has not announced its final plans for the 2028 Games, the City remains committed to working with regional partners to promote Eastvale as a premier destination for training, preparation, and international engagement.

Our State of the City is just around the corner, and we're excited to share one final edition of The Stories That Make Us, our series highlighting the people, businesses, and organizations that help make Eastvale such a special community.

This week, we're featuring Kaden Holmes, an Eleanor Roosevelt High School alumnus whose dedication to Eastvale has continued well beyond graduation. From serving in ASB and the Eastvale Youth Council to creating professional video content through his business, KingKadenMedia, Kaden has remained actively involved in supporting our community.

He recently partnered with the City on a special project that will be unveiled during State of the City, showcasing his continued commitment to giving back to Eastvale.

Join us on October 1 at VantagePoint Church to hear more inspiring community stories and the latest City updates. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the program begins at 6:00 p.m.

Afterward, enjoy Taste of Eastvale, hosted by the Greater Eastvale Chamber of Commerce, featuring FREE food samples from more than 25 local vendors!
