The countdown is on! After 2 weeks of hard work, the EACC pool reopens this Sunday, August 16! 🎉

Staff has been working behind the scenes to make sure the pool is in tip-top shape. From replastering the hot tub and deep cleaning the natatorium to recaulking the slide, scrubbing the entire pool surface, and more, there has been a lot happening.

A huge thank you to our Aquatics Team for the effort and attention to detail they’ve put into this closure. We appreciate everything they've done to get the pool ready for another great year of swimming! 🌊

And last but not least, a special thank you to the Eaton Fire Protection District for helping us fill the pool! 🚒

We’re cheesin’ because it’s time to welcome you back!

The EACC has been cleaned from top to bottom, and our staff has been making sure every space, surface, and corner got the care and attention it needs. From deep cleaning to those finishing touches, the entire facility has been refreshed and reset for your return.

We can’t wait to hear the place come to life again! 🏋️

Maintenance Week: Behind the Scenes 📸

When we close for maintenance and cleaning, we leave no stone unturned! Everything in the EACC is getting some extra care from staff.

The team has made tremendous progress and it's only Tuesday! We reopen next Monday, August 10th. Until then, we'll keep scrubbing! 🧽

🧹🛠️EACC Annual Maintenance Closure | August 1-9, 2026 🧹🛠️

Yep... It's that time of year again. Our annual maintenance closure is almost here! This planned shutdown gives us time to complete important preventative maintenance, projects, and deep cleaning that help keep the EACC safe, sparkling, and running at its best for the community.

During this time, active EACC passholders are welcome to use the Windsor Community Recreation Center (250 11th St. Windsor, CO 80550). Please present your EACC scan card to Guest Services upon arrival.

Please note: the pool will remain closed through August 15 for additional maintenance. EACC passholders are able to utilize the Windsor Community Recreation Center pool through August 14.

Thanks for your patience while we give the EACC the care it deserves. We can't wait to welcome you back!

We are welcoming Devorah and Zacchaeus to the Eaton Area Community Center until 12:15pm today and invite anyone who would like to meet to come on by. ❤🐾

On behalf of the Eaton Area Park and Recreation District, we extend our deepest condolences and keep all affected in our thoughts and prayers. To all whose lives have been forever changed by this tragedy, we hope you know your community stands beside you now and in the days ahead.

The Eaton Area Community Center will host two comfort dogs this Wednesday, July 29th from 10:45am-12:15pm and welcome anyone who may find a moment of peace and connection through spending time with them.

Please continue to take care of one another and remember that no one has to walk through this alone. ❤

We didn't wax any cars, but thanks to Northern Colorado Martial Arts Academy Eaton's Explorers Campers learned some awesome martial arts moves and had an absolute blast at the EACC!🥋✨
