Tillinghast masterpiece is built on the grounds of Fort Monmouth, opened in 1926. The course has hosted such notables as Babe Ruth, Sam Snead, US Open Champion Orville Moody, ad two-time PGA Champion Gene Sarazen, who set the course record of 65 in 1935. That same year, Byron Nelson, then the head pro of Ridgewood Country Club, won his first pro event, the New Jersey State Open, at Suneagles, then known as Monmouth County Country Club.

Congratulations to Michael Bair (pictured on the left) on an incredible hole in one! ⛳️

Michael aced the 17th hole, playing 138 yards, with a perfectly struck 8 iron. As a member of our Hole in One Club, Michael celebrated his achievement with drinks for his friends using his Hole in One Club credits and will also receive Pro Shop credit.
