I'm remembering my favorite Football Coach from High School today!!

Dave Bauer coached me at Red Bank Catholic Football my freshman year.

His positive energy and physical presence helped shape the coach I am today.

You see he was in amazing shape ( as most Football coaches are not)and it really motivated me to become a savage like he was.

Thank you Coach and I hope I make you proud of me !!

As I travel north to pay respects to One of the greatest Natural Powerlifters of our time RAY Benemerito I will be reflecting !!

You see RAy Ray( my nickname for him) was a great corner man / coach and handler and always about the TEAM!!

This photo is from the 1995 worlds in England .... he had just won his Gold Medal and jumped in right away to help me as my coach from Nationals Kevin Farley was not there . This was my final attempt and there he was with a huge embrace ( and a b**r... which was our custom after a winning DL)

What an honor and great memories I have of him!!

He visited me while doing this post as our hype song Thunderstruck came on...

To honor him I'm dedicating my attempt at the M3 Wr in 7 weeks

Greetings from Hilton Head!!

Thank god we are here!!

Spending so much time with my Grandaughter is priceless!!

Helping Aidan Meyler-McAuliffe move is a blessing as now they have more room for their family and my little princess and dog MOOSE!!! Plus my machine head son now has a garage!!

Life is confusing sometime.... here I am playing on the beach with Reilly - Grace one min the hearing of the death of one of my best Powerlifting Pals RAY Benemerito at the age of 59!( never a social media guy).... look him up as he is the greatest DRUG FREE powerlifter the ADFPA / USAPL has ever seen in the open category.... won more than 10 titles and more importantly a great guy... always Uniting us as a team ( PRO Fitness won a few team titles back in the 90s) against "The Juicers" as he would always say!!

My heart hurts for his family and friends!!

I won't ever stop telling stories about him!!

God speed RAY RAY and I'll see you again in the great Power Rack in the sky ❤️

Happy to know our college athletes are well prepared to go back to school.

Sad to see them go as they are family now !!!
