🏁 RACE WEEK IS HERE! 🏁

Nerison Motorsports is headed to the legendary Crandon International Raceway for our first Champ Off-Road race of the 2026 season!

While our driver, Bennett Nerison, is no stranger to the driver’s seat after five seasons in the 170 class and multiple trips to Crandon, this weekend brings a lot of exciting firsts.

🔥 New class: Youth 1000 debut (and look at a sneak peak of the new livery by Blunt Wraps Graphics Co 👀)
🔥 More speed and new mechanics
🔥 A new 2x2 rolling start, replacing the familiar 5x5 land rush start
🔥 A competition caution, bunching the field back together midway through the race for a full restart

There will undoubtedly be a learning curve, but Bennett has worked hard for this opportunity, and we’re excited to see him tackle this next chapter in his racing journey.

With race week approaching, we’ve been busy loading up the hauler and getting everything ready for our trip to Crandon. Of course, no deep clean is complete without uncovering a few forgotten treasures. 😂

This weekend’s discoveries included:

🏈 A signed Edgerrin Cooper Packers football card
🦷 A tooth from our young racer (because apparently the tooth fairy makes pit stops, too)

Safe to say, life with a race team is never boring. You just never know what you’ll find hiding in the camper after a long season!

We are coming home to the Big House next weekend for our first Champ Off-Road race in the Youth 1000! The schedule is PACKED with action! 🏁

50 + races. Pro and Sportsman racers of the Champ Off-Road Series. America versus Europe at the debut of RallyX Americas. A Pro 2 and Pro 4 Saturday double header. Vintage off-road racers bringing history alive. Insane rock bouncers and live music to light up Friday and Saturday night.

Next weekend's reimagined Forest County Potawatomi Brush Run Speed Festival at the Big House has it all!

Happy 12th Birthday to the driver of the #12, Bennett! 🏁🎉 The #12 is turning 12!

Today is a big day for our team as we celebrate the kid who puts his whole heart into this sport. Bennett’s passion for off-road racing, determination behind the wheel, and dedication to learning and growing as a driver continues to amaze us every season.

Here’s a fun fact many people may not know: according to Champ Off-Road rules, Youth 1000 drivers must be at least 12 years old by June 1st, 2026 in order to compete. Believe it or not, Bennett misses that cutoff by just ONE day! 😳

Thanks to the racing experience our family and team have built over the last 5 years, we were able to work with Champ Off-Road and USAC to receive approval for Bennett to compete this season — even though he will still be 12 years old during every race he enters in 2026.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue chasing this dream together, and even more grateful for everyone who supports Bennett on this journey. Be sure to help us wish him the happiest birthday and good luck as he prepares for his biggest season yet! 🔥🏁

We won’t be hitting the track this weekend, as we are only running a limited schedule this season. With the purchase of our new machine, learning an entirely new car and class, and now working through some unexpected challenges with the car, we knew a full season just wasn’t going to be feasible this year.

As hard as it is for our team to miss out on the action, we are incredibly thankful for the opportunity to compete at all this season in the Youth 1000 class. Every weekend has been a learning experience, and we know the work we are putting in now will only make us stronger moving forward.

While we may not be loading up and heading out this weekend, the action continues as Champ Off-Road heads to Antigo, WI for Rounds 3 & 4! Be sure to check out the schedule and catch all the racing action this weekend. 🏁🔥
