A tough loss to Chippewa Falls last night marks the end of this year’s softball season for the Eagles. There is so much talent on this team, I can’t wait for next year‘s season to see what they can do!
A huge thanks to the coaches, team manager, athletic trainers, team parents, and all who supported the team this year. Thank you to Lori Marcon for getting so many action shots of the team throughout the season!

Last night was Parent Appreciation Night. We appreciate all of the love and support our team parents show our players throughout the season. Behind every player are parents who have given countless rides, volunteered numerous hours, spent hundreds of hours at the ballfield, scrubbed grass/dirt/turf stains out of uniforms, and inspired our players to do their very best.

Old Abe Player Spotlight: Lindsay Duerkop!
Lindsay is one of the seven freshmen who joined the team this year. She has been playing softball for 10 years, and is a solid all-around player. Lindsay's favorite sports memory is dancing in the dugouts with Kacey's little brother!

Old Abe Player Spotlight: Erin Holzinger! Erin has been playing softball for 10 years, and nothing gets by her in the outfield! Her favorite sports memories are winning Nationals in 2018, and hitting her first home run. "I was so excited I jumped over first base and had to run back and touch it!"
