Apocalypse Gym

Smooth 150 kg x 5 squat. Was really focusing on power out of the hole. Bar path is getting better but still want to get less forward drift at the bottom. Overall squats are feeling more powerful

Working on speed with deadlifts. My goal here was to get 3 reps at 1 meter per second. Got .9 for the first two and 1 m/s on the last one.

Backed off a bit on Squats this week. I have been working on my bracing and felt like I would blow these thru the roof by the time I was done. A lot happening this month and needing to recover.

I have decided to follow Jesus and as John the Baptizer said He must increase and I must decrease. We are called to a supernatural transformation to prepare us for our eternal relationship with God. As Peter has written, why then would we continue in those things that we are now ashamed of. Our struggle is to continually let go of more of the World and take on more of our identity as the children of God.

Getting conventional deadlifts back on the board. Felt snappy. Lost a little body weight over the last couple of weeks, so it'll be interesting to see how that affects this lift.

We need to know Jesus Christ so that we can know God. Knowing who God is and what God is doing in this world is found through the person known as Jesus. Jesus provides the supernatural transformation that we need in order to escape the consequences of living in a broken.

Bench day with 100 kg on the bar. Trying to tighten things up now and really working on the leg drive to hold m6 position. This felt really good like I could probably go for 10 reps easy.

150 kg squat x 5. Bryce was feeling really good and felt like I had a lot of pop in these squats.

Back to comp bench and putting in the work. Feels good but so much to build up.

Every follower of Jesus is holy unto the Lord. We are sacred space. We are a vessel in which God dwells by his spirit. And because of that, we need to treat ourselves as holy and treat others as sacred as well.
