Didn't make it to 8 today...it sucks not making it to he training target. I'm frustrated and a little pi**ed off AND it's a part of training. Every run isn't going to be effortless and this one definitely was not! Struggling to consistently breath well got the best me!
This is a great reminder that the things that are really special come with failures and setbacks. It's all in how you respond, get back to it, and reap the benefits! I have never felt more accomplished than crossing the finish line of my first full marathon and remembering that feeling will keep me going🙌🙌

8 on my feet and 8 more tomorrow for a total of my 16 mile long run 🏃🏼♀️
Allergies and asthma have made breathing a challenge this week so I'm splitting up my long run into 2 consecutive days of long effort.
I keep reminding myself that training is meant to be flexible and you must LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!!!
And always remember...Stay Hydrated friends 👏🥤

LEGGINGS REVIEW❗❗
I'm wearing a large Flux 2.0 legging from .wear and ran 4 miles on this hot morning 💥
My thoughts on the leggings
✅No chafing!!!-this is huge
✅The waistband feels a little lose and like it could have moved/fallen down but it didn't! I didn't have to pull these up once the whole run!
✅Feels really light, like I wasn't wearing pants at all (which is all I really want 🤣🤣)
✅Felt moisture wicking and I sweat ALOT!
Overall I would absolutely run in these and these might just be my leggings for my October marathon!

When people say exercise improves your mental health 🤣🤣🤣
But seriously exercise can improve your mental health in many ways🧠💪
✅Feeling accomplished and proud of your workout
✅Exercise releases good feels hormones in your brain (oh hey endorphins 😆)
✅Gets you up and moving (e.i. behavioral activation)
✅Can increase your self confidence
✅Reduce excess energy or tension in the mind and body (this is me 🙋🏼♀️)
