Spending time in nature does more than just help us feel good — it physically supports our nervous system by helping lower stress, and restore mental energy.🌿
One of my favorite places to go when I’m feeling overwhelmed or needing a reset is Big Falls. There is something about being surrounded by the trees, hearing the river flow, and letting nature remind me to slow down. It feels like the water carries some of the weight away.

By too much sitting still the body becomes ill. I just started listening to this book! Been loving the information, just thought I’d share. Moving the body every 30 min for 5 min is more effective than hitting the gym a couple times a week if working a desk job.

I recently completed my Chiropractic Tech Certificate! This not only allows me to do more within my role at Lux Chiropractic - Emily Johnson DC, but it has also deepened my understanding of the skeletal system, how the body is connected, that motion is lotion, and how to better support others in receiving care.
I truly love continuing to learn and applying the knowledge from these courses into my own practice—strengthening my skills and expanding the variety of offerings I bring to my teaching. I’m excited to keep learning and growing in ways that help me better support others through every stage of life and movement.
