Kubb of the South

Well, I think it’s safe to say the was a HUGE success! Within the first couple of hours, nearly all of the beer that had been donated from local breweries had been exchanged to reveal even more unique brews that Kubbers from around the country wanted to share with their fellow competitors! We had the opportunity to share a little info about the beers we love from here in Arkansas and learned a lot about the beers so dearly loved elsewhere, showing yet another example of the way the U.S. National Kubb Championship brings people together. Not only that, but it also gave us an opportunity to spread the word nation wide about the great things happening in the craft brewery scene here in Little Rock as people from Massachusetts to California shared their experiences on social media! A huge shout out to the breweries that seeded the coolers to get things going, Diamond Bear Brewing Company and Flyway Brewing (our 2019 Arkansas Sponsors) and Summit Brewing Company and The Brewing Projekt for sending cases along with their teams up north. Also, a huge thanks to Country Kubb : The Outdoor Lawn Game for the sweet koozies and Kubb On and Kubb United Inc for helping spread the word and making this a huge success! We’re all packed for the Craft Brews Exchange at the National Championship! A huge thanks to all of the awesome breweries who sponsored some coolers with some beer (more on those later) and to all of those here in Little Rock who continue to support Kubb way down here in the south! What are you bringing to swap?!

For everyone who will be heading to Eau Claire this weekend for the U.S. National Kubb Championship, we thought it'd be nice to show some love to the breweries who let us destroy their lawns each week and share some craft brews from our neck of the woods in exchange for some of yours! Bring an extra few craft beers from where you call home, leave a few in the cooler, and take a few back with you from somewhere else! Spread the word!
