While in Massachusetts for my nephew's graduation party, I came across a gentleman who had a piece of Maine history in the back seat of his car. This is the exact fish that was caught by Hollis Grindle, the gentleman's grandfather, on Beech Hill Pond back in 1958. This fish was a state of Maine record for over 60 years weighing in at 31 lbs 8 Oz.
