Short runs are important. 40 minutes of moderate pace Want to lean out run in Florida they next 4 months πŸ₯΅ Getting my 20-25 miles a week. 3-4 upper body workouts, 2 core/leg workouts. Never the same workout.
Using the old muscle confusion mantra.

Sleep, magnesium, creatine, testosterone, B-12, breathwork & tapping are the standards. Keep.moving....

Trying to run purposely slow is often harder than fast. A recovery run is just that. It will include walking in many instances & keeping HR in the 130's-140's Not easy then you have 80% humidity.πŸ₯΅ I looked like I went swimming.πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ 2nd workout later, hydration needed.πŸ€•

26 mile week. Last May was sick & ran 25 miles total.. So lets get 90-100..

You can change your path if you do something in the morning. Turn on your muscles & not your TV.

Walk, run, swim, surf, cycle for 30 minutes mininum. It creates discipline & changes both mind & body. 6.75 miles.πŸƒ

It's okay to take a few minutes & enjoy the view & just unwind when the wheels & lungs are off. Lately have had a good day & a bad day running. Sleep is good, but feel off.

My supplementation needs some tweaks. Often we just start running, no stretching, no mobility work. Legs & the rest of the body are not 20 anymore. I know 2020 me was way faster, but its okay to accept some drop off, but also acknowledge you can do better. Compete with expectations, but don't settle for a half ass effort.

A picture doesn't always tell the struggle bus some workouts are. Serious wind today, good day for kiteboarding, running if you are headed west. 😎 This month goal is 90 miles, improvements in abs & mobility work, mix in swimming & surfing. "not today"πŸ„πŸ˜³

Set the bar high and do more than you think you can.

At 6:45 am we often looked, faded & fatigued. However had to complete my mileage goal. Odd thing I had .2 miles to get to 80. Wasn't going to do less than 4.2, but ended up doing 7 miles.

Kanan playing loudly in my ears & just enjoying views. No races planned, just running to run. Accomplish the goal.and add a bit. Do that with your workouts & see your body transform.

Every workout should matter, even those you are yawning through. 5:45 am wake up, run 5.5 miles. Work with a client, training video for my online coaching & than mobility work.

Too many ignore mobiltv & flexibility work. Including me, but the over 40 joints & muscles don't get more nimble😳🦡🦡

Felt good joint doing that work today.

7 miles & I didn't capsize. πŸ™ƒ 2 boats near the inlet & one on the other side. 😳

Back to consistency on my mileage. Not really fast lately, but still feel strong.

My next triathlon bike may need a new fitting. 🫣 4 good miles, last 3 miles the legs were toast.
