Me and my knuckleheads on a normal day! I love that we can really lean into sports, I love that we can be together all day every day, and I love the homeschool community we have found 🌟⚽️

Time for a quick re-introduction for those that don’t know me 🥰 unfortunately I don’t get a chance to talk with parents much because I’m so focused on teaching the kids!

My name is Alex! I am usually a package deal with my two kids, Maverick (6) and Finn (8). We just began our third year of homeschooling. Usually you’ll see my kids participating in PE and soccer or helping me with the littles! 💖

I teach lots of programs including Homeschool PE at 3 locations, Microsports, First Touch at POSC, Homeschool Soccer at POSC, and I still volunteer coach at the YMCA! 🌟 my background and passion is teaching, so this is the perfect way to do what I love and still be present for my own kids as well.

I try to make a connection with each child because kids do their best when they know their teacher likes them! I like to joke around with the kids and keep the environment light-hearted and fun while making sure they’re developing socially and physically. 🥰 many times I’m their first “teacher” apart from parents, so it’s important to me to make the experience positive.

I’m usually always running from one program to the next, so if you can’t catch me before or after sessions, parents please always feel free to message me any time if needed! 🌟

Gaga ball is coming to Homeschool PE! 💖 if you don’t know what this game is, it’s sort of a mix of dodgeball and tag. It’s FUN and the kids are going to love it. I’m so excited!! 🥳

Microsports (sports for 2-5 year olds) still has spots available at Southeast Volusia Family YMCA and Port Orange Volusia Family YMCA! 💖

Microsports is an indoor sports program for 2-5 year olds requiring no equipment. Sessions are engaging, fun, and confidence based while focusing on basic sports skills. Parents stay to watch and are welcome to come assist their children if desired. Families do not need to be a YMCA member however members receive a discount.

Edgewater location:

How blessed are we that we don’t have to sacrifice socialization and fitness to homeschool 💪🏼 There are sooo many local programs out there for us now.

Super thankful for Port Orange Soccer Club’s Homeschool Soccer! Finn said he had the most fun playing soccer yesterday than he’s ever had. ⚽️

Spots are still open in the younger and older kids group if anyone is interested!

Homeschool Soccer still has a couple spots left! ⚽️🦅

We started today but new kids can join next week. I’ll be teaching the younger kids and there is an older group as well so the kids are with similar skill levels.

Both of my kids absolutely loved it today. It’s perfect for kids that are new to soccer and want to learn the game, as well as more advanced players looking to develop further.
