It is with great respect and appreciation that I write this letter of for my former ballet teacher, Andrea.

Her influence on my life, both in and beyond the studio, has been profound and lasting.

From the very beginning, she had an incredible balance between discipline and passion. Her classes were structured, rigorous, and rooted in the technical foundations of ballet while also
being warm and inviting.

Her love for dance radiated in every correction, every combination, and every word of encouragement.

She held high expectations, not out of harshness, but because
she genuinely believed in our potential.

She didn’t just teach us how to dance. She taught us how to persevere, to pay attention to detail, and to strive for excellence with grace and humility.

Whether it was a small breakthrough in technique or a personal hurdle we had to overcome, she was always there cheering us on, offering thoughtful guidance, and helping us grow.

The lessons she taught me influenced my love for dance and my ability to overcome setbacks.

I’m incredibly grateful for the time I spent under her instruction, and I wholeheartedly recommend her as an exceptional teacher and mentor.
