Happy Sri Rama Navami to all of you.
Just as Sri Rama put an end to Seeta's misery by rescuing her from the clutches of the evil Ravana, may the benevolent Lord Rama bless us all and put an end to the misery the world is facing right now.
Here is a small clip from the dance drama - "Seeta Ramayana" which was premeired last year during NSD's annual day celebrations.
My senior students Anagha Prasad as Rama and Shreya Sankar as Lakshmana.

What a start on August 12th to the 2018 Nritoypaasana Rangapravesha season!
We are proud of Shreya Sankar for her dedication, commitment and sincerity to this art form, and performing all the songs to perfection in her solo dance debut. Shreya won a lot of appreciation for all her items and the highlight certainly was her Varna, Sri Krishna Kamalantho where she enacted various stories including birth of Lord Krishna in the prison, Pootana samhaara and finally the Geetopadesha!
Being the very first Rangapravesha of the School, we could not be more proud.
Kudos to Shreya and her ever supporting parents Hema and Subu for organizing a fantastic event!

Very happy to share with you all that three of my students will be performing their Rangapravesha this month. A lot of hard work has gone into each as they perform entirely different margams (repertoires).
Having celebrated Guru Poornima just a few days back, I seek the blessings of the Almighty and the lineage of Gurus to my students for their successful dance debuts.
