Metuchen Golf and Country Club was built in 1915 and originally designed as 9 holes by the golf professional and greenskeeper, Charles Lang. The full 18 holes were completed in 1931. Please do not be overconfident when you see the yardage. On Monday, July 27, 2026, the New Jersey Club Foundation (NJCF) hosted its Annual Golf Outing at Canoe Brook Country Club, bringing together club professionals and supporters from across New Jersey for a day dedicated to education, philanthropy, and the future of the private club industry.
We are especially proud that our own General Manager/COO, Joe Kuntar, serves as Chairman of the New Jersey Club Foundation, helping lead an organization committed to supporting educational scholarships, charitable initiatives, and the continued growth of the club management profession.
The NJCF is the charitable arm of the New Jersey Club Managers Association (NJCMA), whose mission is to advance the private club industry by providing educational programs, professional development opportunities, and networking for club management professionals throughout the state.
We thank everyone who participated, sponsored, and supported this year's outing. Through events like these, the NJCF and NJCMA continue to invest in the future of club management while giving back to the communities we proudly serve.
