Say Watt? Robotics

Our crazy wooden robot in the finals. Going to NJ State on March 10. On another note, I will be reffing at a PA qualifier event south of Pittsburgh on Feb 24. Hopefully, the team gets into the event, but either way, I will be there. If any Carnegie Mellon Say Watters are willing to volunteer on a Sunday, or just come by to see me, let me know. The event is at 1825 McLaughlin Run Rd., Pittsburgh, PA. about 12 miles from Carnegie Mellon.

We participated in the 37th Annual Boyd Park River Festival again this year and it was great. Beez Foundation is a wonderful effort to support cancer research and we are proud to participate in the Festival that they run.

Both Team 5169 - Watt's Up? and Team 7350 - Watt's NXT are preparing for worlds. Congrats!

Watt's NXT? (7350) won Inspire at NJ, and Watt's Up? (5169) was captain of the finalist alliance in NJ (and third-place Inspire winner in PA), so both are going to East Super-Regionals! There were a lot of last-minute issues with both robots, but the teams pulled together, fixed the issues, and Res-Qed themselves. Good job!

General News - We are having an unofficial match at our facility on January 2. Our three teams, two rookie teams and whoever else contacts the Say Watt coach is welcome to come. We can fit another two teams.
