The Bin Porter position is vital to the upkeep of glass inventory for our operations each week. Your ability to effectively travel to partner locations, retrieve bins, bring them back and clean the
contents is a crucial part of the company’s success. This role requires self-discipline, strength, reliability and communication skills.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
May include, but are not limited to:
• Making contacts within the restaurant and bar community
• Picking up heavy bins and transporting them back
• Taking out and washing dirty bottles, glass or dishes in bulk
• Stocking each ga***rd with clean bottles
• Sanitizing bins for re-use
• Delivering clean bins to partners
• Picking up windshields when available
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience in customer service is helpful, but not required
• Must have the ability to lift at least 40 lbs or more
• Standing for an extended period of time at wash sink
• Must have reliable transportation – a truck or SUV, suitable to carry multiple bins of glass and windshields
