Still thinking about the great weekend these girls had at the Rumble at Devon Park last weekend! Finished tied for 3rd out of 24 teams and missed the championship game by 1 run to a talented OKC Hotshots team! 3 of the 4 final teams all came from our pool as well. Such a great tournament put on by USA Softball and we can’t wait to go back next year!

Now on to the El Gigante tourney this weekend! 🦅🥎

Back at it this weekend for the Rumble at Devon Park. What an experience for these girls to play on the same field where the Women’s College World Series kicks off in a little over a month. We got a really tough pool draw, but excited to kick things off against an extremely talented Athletics XV Gold team on the main field Friday night! 🦅🥎

Another late night at the ballpark, but it helps when you take home some hardware! B Level Ring Showdown Champs! We had some tough games against some talented opponents with great pitching. But these girls keep grinding and fighting to get better!

And shouting a warm Eagle welcome to our newest teammate, Maguire! She brings a strong bat, talent behind the plate and the ability to be a true utility player. She’ll be wearing #22 and is the perfect final piece to our roster. Welcome to the nest, Mac! 🦅🥎

🐰🐣 Easter Bunny Bash 10U Champs! Overnight rains pushed our game times back and we ended up leaving the ballpark after midnight. But a fun and successful day with these Eagles! Solid defense continues and bats are starting to come alive as we get in the groove of the spring season. We were also able to celebrate our #24’s upcoming birthday between games!

Spring season loading. . . 🦅🥎

Started the season 4-0 on day one of the Spring Break Blowout. Back at it this morning for day 2!

Wrapped up the fall season with a special Big Eagle/Little Eagle reveal night! Our girls enjoyed practice with the Oklahoma Christian University Softball team followed by dinner and the reveal. So thankful for these opportunites our girls get and for the mentors these college girls are. It’s about so much more than softball! 🦅🥎❤️🖤

Fall Break 7GG Shootout 2nd Place! Keep working Eagles! Next stop is the Midwest Shootout in Tulsa if we don’t get rained out. Let’s go!

September Fest Champs! 🦅🥎

It was a long weekend at the ballpark for these ladies. Got dropped to the losing side of the bracket early, but fought our way back to bring home the bling against some talented teams. Shoutout to Oklahoma Ultimate 2K15 who always gives us a good game!

And congrats to our #17, Lillian, for getting the MVP for the championship game! She locked things down behind the plate!

And finally, as we , we are reminded that this game isn’t just about winning. It’s about the countless hours at the ballpark spent with friends, family, teammates and their families that become like your own family. The ballpark siblings loaded up on picklesicles and skittles. The friendships formed. The lessons learned in success and failure. And when one piece of that equation is taken unexpectedly and way too soon, it brings clarity to the fact that this is just a game. So please continue to pray for Kella, her family, teammates, friends and all those who loved her so. 🖤🥎❤️
