Good weekend in Tulsa. #1 in Pool going 3-1 but Bracket we had one bad inning. Lessons learned and a lot of great play.

Well as oklahoma mother nature likes it, the Oklahoma Fuel 2011 Burns went from playin in the rain one weekend to 90° weather the next. The girls went 2-2-1 last weekend (May 18th- 19th) showing that they can play in any weather. This group of girls not only had great hits but also played the field really well. Batting they had a couple in field home runs, triples, and several singles that moved the runners around the bases. Fielding had some great double plays, several pop fly catches, and all around great plays. Pitchers also didn't disappoint with several strikeouts and opportunities for them to make fielding plays. The girls love just being at a ball field together as a family. This group of girls cheer for each other on and off the fields. The girls are gearing up for state and nationals so more to come in the next couple weeks.

This past weekend (may 10th - 12th) Oklahoma Fuel 2011 burns had a very long and interesting weekend celebrating mothers day. These girls ended up playing in the very late games and playing in pouring rain. Unfortunately the rain finally shut the girls down Sunday afternoon in a rainout. This group of girls are not afraid to get down and dirty in the rain or let it discourage them. The weekend included some great hits to the outfield, double plays, and several great base running plays. They can find something fun to do anywhere. They put their volleyball and bracelet making skills to a test in-between games.The Oklahoma Fuel 2011 burns will make great family memories anywhere they go. ❤️
