She only got one match, but she absolutely dominated from start to finish, ending the match with an arm-bar submission from having the triangle!!!!

Coach tara_lindley works very hard, and the results show it!!!!

Coach Dixie Teubner teaching her first full class yesterday to the Fundamental Juniors Jiu-Jitsu class!!!!

Coach Dixie Teubner is just 14 years old, gray belt, just over 3 years of training, and has done extremely well at competitions, and is now beginning to help and give back to the younger kids by teaching them!!!!

While Professor Justin Rader usually teaches and leads this class, it’s always awesome to see our Junior Instructors take leadership roles and teach the new younger generation and the very same classes they used to attend!!!!

Adult All-Ranks No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu class led by Coach Becky English!!!!

Side Control attacks and transitions, as well as advanced guard entries and finishes!!!!

Congratulations to our Teen student, Caliana Casas, on her Gold Medal performance at the Jiu Jitsu World League West Nationals Jiu-Jitsu Championships in Stockton, CA today!!!!

She’s on vacation out there, and decided to jump in a tournament and get some great experience!!!!
Two matches and two submission victories!!!! Not bad for a day’s work!!!!

NOTHING BUT HARD WORK AND A LOT OF FUN!!!!

One of the absolute best Juniors/Teens No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu classes we have had in a long time!!!!
We went over a couple techniques and situations that needed to be addressed after the last tournament, and so much improvement came from today’s practice in this area!!!!

And we were all laughing and joking the whole time!!!! We can’t wait to unveil the “Burrito!!” next tournament!!!!

Some great guard passing techniques and concepts, and how to disguise guard passing by making it look like something else so your opponent realizes it too late!!!!
Some really great sparring rounds at the end!!!!

It was a great turn-out, all the instructors came prepared, and everyone had a lot of fun learning some new great techniques to add to their games and were introduced to other games and techniques they hadn’t seen yet!!!!

Mount transitions and attacks was the theme this week!!!! Very important to maintain position and keep up the attacks when we get to the mount position!!!!
There may or may not have been a mounted triangle attack or two too!!!!
