In a world where our children are bombarded with sexualized content, 0n1y FanS “models,” and inappropriate billboards—even at BASEBALL GAMES🙄—we have to ask ourselves: What are we teaching our children about beauty, worth, and dignity?

Let’s teach our girls that true beauty doesn’t require revealing everything, that attention isn’t the same as value, and that their worth has never been measured by how much of themselves they’re willing to show the world.

But parents, this starts with us.

We cannot tell our daughters to reject the world’s standards later in life if we aren’t willing to challenge those same standards now—in their schools, in our homes, and yes, in sports.

We cannot preach modesty and self-respect while celebrating revealing uniforms, inappropriate movements, and performances that contradict the very values we say we want our girls to carry into adulthood.

Our message must match our example.

This isn’t about shaming girls. It’s about protecting their innocence, building their confidence, teaching them discernment, and helping them understand that they can be beautiful, confident, athletic, and powerful without compromising their dignity.

Moms, step up. Dads, step up. Our daughters are watching what we tolerate, what we celebrate, and what we teach them to believe about themselves.

We don’t get to wait until they’re older to start teaching these values. The foundation is being built right now.

Let’s raise girls who know their worth, carry themselves with confidence, and have the courage to stand apart from a culture that too often confuses exposure with empowerment.

Because what we teach them today matters for the women they become tomorrow.
