Working a simple but challenging close quarters drill. For the onlooker, it's easy to misunderstand and see this as sloppy, but the reality is that during a legitimate life threat in an uncontrolled violent situation, it won't be "clean". Nothing ever happens exactly the way you intend, no matter how much you drill. You could do it 100 times and have 100 varying outcomes. There's too much to account for and almost none of it is under your control.
So how do you address it effectively? Develop and maintain proper mindset, remain intent and focus on the objectives, of which the primary is to get home.
