I will be really happy if we can manage 25 points from first 10 matches. Consistency is the key. We might forgot Liverpool did crazy first 4/5 games last year same as Chelsea.

6/6 done and we already played at Villa park. I don’t think Chelsea will be the contender and City will struggle without Rodri.

I didn’t follow Julian Alvarez closely since I mostly stick to watching Arsenal, but seeing him with Argentina and catching highlights, it’s clear to me why Mikel Arteta is so keen on him:

1) Relentless Off-the-Ball Engine: His work rate and persistent pressing from the front fit our high-intensity system perfectly.

2) Two-Footed Finishing: He shoots effortlessly and accurately with either foot, making him lethal from almost any angle.

3) Selfless Creator & Finisher: He picks out assists just as eagerly as he finishes, making him clutch in key moments.

Reports suggest Atletico Madrid are holding out for £128M. If Arteta sways him, I could see us bidding around £120M plus add-ons. In a market where certain Villa players push past £110M and Barcola gets tagged at £130M, Alvarez is worth every penny for what he brings to the squad.

Transfer doesn’t happen without the agreement of the players. If Josh and Mikel can convince Alvarez, I have absolutely zero issue. If he wants to leave after a season, I still want to take the risk to bring the best possible CF for our system. If Alvarez goes to Barca, good luck to your wish to win the UCL.

Barca is already kind of scary with Rodri.

Job done at the Emirates! A thoroughly professional, high-energy performance from the boys to seal a massive win against a resilient Coventry side.

Here are the key takeaways from today’s performance:

We set the tempo right from the opening whistle, suffocating their midfield and suffocating any chance of a counter-attack.

Took our chances when it mattered most. The movement in the final third was top-tier, opening up gaps in their low block.

Another clean sheet to add to the tally. The backline barely gave them a sniff, looking composed and commanding in the air all match.

Hincapie - Done
Meslier - Done (Kepa's replacement)
Tzolis - Done (Replacement of Trossard)
Bruno G - Talks progressing fast. If we can complete this, midfield is sorted.

As Saliba will be out for extended period, I want a CB (can be a loan). If any attacker comes, he will be certainly better than Gabi and Viktor. For this signing - we have to wait.

I am not worried at all. We already have a very good squad. Team chemistry is far more important than bunch of new toys.
