“Joining Mary's gym was one of the best decisions I've ever made towards bettering myself, and the best decision I made for my body and my health!
I first started working out with Mary because I wanted to get toned for my sister's wedding in Cabo. Mary explained to me that while she's obviously going to help me reach my goals, her main priority for her girls is to change their lifestyle. I am happy to say after less than 3 months of working out with Mary, not only have I reached my initial goal of becoming toned, but I now plan on making fitness a part of my lifestyle forever.
Before Mary, I was skinny but not fit at all and I could see that I was losing my curves. I never worked out with weights before because I was afraid I was going to look bigger but Mary completely transformed the way I see fitness. I love weight training now- it has transformed my body into one that is strong, slim, and yet curvy all at the same time. The body I have now is one that I didn't think was possible for me to achieve ever, let alone achieve in such a short time (I literally lost 4% body fat in less than two months all while eating more).
One of my favorite things about Mary is that she's really caring but the last thing she will let you do is make excuses for yourself. Mary inspires me but also makes it clear that I have to answer to her if I am slacking off in any way, which is exactly the type of tough love that's needed in a great trainer. I know I wouldn't be able to achieve what I have in so little time if didn't have Mary there to push and encourage me.
And lastly, I appreciate how Mary has put so much effort into making her gym a positive and motivating environment that is literally always clean and always smells good.

Don’t Overthink Your Fitness Routine! Just start moving and learn what works for you and what doesn’t! Everyone starts somewhere!
1. Start with a plan: Define your fitness goals and make a program that works for you. It can help to work with a Certified Personal Trainer so you have an expert's input on the right exercises and routines for your body type and abilities! They are also there to coach, guide and motivate you!
2. Mix it up: Keeping your workouts varied will help keep motivation levels high. This means incorporating different types of exercises into your routine, such as strength training, HIIT, pilates, boxing, yoga, stretching etc.
3. Stay motivated: It's important to find ways to keep yourself motivated throughout each workout. Whether it's setting small achievable goals, making killer playlists to listen to, or rewarding yourself with new Athleisure! Find something that works for you and stick with it.
4. Take breaks: Working out too hard or too much can lead to injury or exhaustion, which is why it's important to take scheduled rest days. Whether it's taking a day off once a week or making sure you get enough sleep, make sure your body has the chance to rest and recover before continuing with your fitness routine. Your body, muscles and joints will thank you! This is extremely crucial for your muscle gains and progress as well!
5. Get creative: Incorporating activities you enjoy into your fitness routine is a great way to stay motivated and have fun while getting fit. 🔥Transform. Such a beautiful word. It means something different to everyone! Transformation takes a lot of work, a lot of time, a lot of dedication, a lot of consistency and a lot of desire. It definitely doesn’t come easy! That’s why it’s such a power 💥 word and a big deal when someone uses the phrase, “Wow! Look at that Transformation!”. It’s a huge compliment and major achievement that should be celebrated!
It’s not only about how you look on the outside and the changes you make physically, but also the transformation that you make within… Mind, body and soul❤️! Your mindset changes. Your heart and the love you develop for yourself changes and reaches a different level, and that’s priceless! And the gift of habits you form on the way to that beautiful place is amazing. This is even a bigger deal than what we see on the outside!

To Transform: To make someone or something different, usually in a way that makes them more confident, attractive, and happier. On a deeper level, transformation is an internal shift that brings us in alignment with our highest potential it is at the heart of every major aspect of our lives. It affects how we see and relate to the world and how we understand our place in it.
As a coach, helping my clients with their transformation, is one of the most important things/gifts that I can give to them! It is extremely important to me. I can’t physically do the work for them, but I will coach them, motivate them, mentor them, push them, stalk them lol, and hold their hand through every step of the way! The amount of transformations we see at MK FITNESS is pretty jaw-dropping, mind-blowing 🤯 and I’m just so darn proud! I love my calling ❤️🙏and I’m beyond grateful that I get to be surrounded by these incredible women every day!! Transform 🔥💪🙏👙

THANK U 2022 … What a year! Given 2021 was one of the hardest years of my life (losing 2 close/impactful people in my life) I wasn’t sure how this year would play out tbh. How I would feel, perform, engage, express, or just fight the overwhelming feelings I had to deal with every day while staying strong enough to be the mom/wife/coach/friend/daughter/sister/auntie/cousin that I love and want to be!
Faith gives you strength🙏. Strength gives you power to overcome tragedy or at least not fall apart. The strength isn’t there every day, but I do my best to work through it without affecting the people around me. The thing is… Everyone has stuff that they are going through that no one really knows about, so it’s important to be kind, have an open heart, and give your time to the people who matter most. Reach out to your loved ones. Say I love u❤️
Life is the ultimate gift 🙏 and time is a thief, so enjoy every day to the fullest and do everything and anything that makes you happy!!🫶 Live life with purpose 🔥

Empowering other women (or anyone) is extremely important to me! The type of coach that I am, this is one of my ultimate goals. So many women have been through so much in their lives. They sometimes lack self-worth, confidence, positive self-image, happiness. My goal is to break that cycle! For them to see what I see😍. To help them fight through their fears, insecurities, lack of confidence & what they have been told are their limits. To show them just how amazing & powerful they really are and what they are capable of! You have the whole world in your hands, my babes! Create your reality! I’ve been working out since my late teens. It’s always been a part of my life. Before I even started personal training professionally, I would spend endless hours every week researching, reading, learning, session planning and training - I still do TBH. But before I even made business cards, I thought a lot about my branding etc., The business marketing major in me asked myself to close my eyes & think of 3 Powerful Words that described the passion I had for Fitness, health and helping people💜. The 3 words that immediately came to mind were Inspire, Empower, & Transform. I still feel very passionate about these words and they mean a lot to me❤️.
To Inspire: To move or guide by divine influence. To move someone to act, create or feel emotions-physically and mentally. To cause something to occur or to be created or done.
Being called an Inspiration is the most important title next to Mommy & I’m honored every time I hear it!
IMO- When someone tells you that u inspire them, it means that u have moved them, changed them, guided them &/or created a new emotion or feeling inside their heart or a new thought in their mind. Being able to do this for someone is a pretty big deal. So when someone calls u an Inspiration or tells u that u have inspired them… don’t take it lightly. It’s a huge compliment. It’s a very special & important title. Honor it. And if u feel this way about someone, tell them. It will help them know that what they are doing/saying is important & help them evolve and continue to do more good in the world.
Hearing it makes me feel humbled, grateful, blessed, happy and encourages me to continue to do and give so much more. And as much as I hear this beautiful phrase… it is those people- My Clients, My MK Babes, My Family & Friends and so many special people out there doing their thing- who actually INSPIRE Me!! U know who u are!!
Be that person to someone - If u can help, support, love, and Inspire even 1 person- that is a true blessing. Sometimes u don’t know how much u can actually impact someone’s life even by the simplest act of kindness or expression. We all have gifts. Shine your light, my friends! The world needs more of it!
