If you didn't know, I'm a theater director and the audition season for various San Diego theaters is quickly approaching!

I'm teaching private lessons in acting, singing, dancing and musical theater performance and I'd love the privilege to work with your kiddo and help improve their performance overall!

Date: July 15th
Time: 8am-1pm
Location: TBD (possibly Liberty Station)
Pre-Worksop Cost: $20

Get a leg up on the audition and learn what the directors are looking for!

Our now open call audition/workshop provides the opportunity to learn specific jazz and latin dance stylizations that will be performed in the r***e prior to the audition. Directors will also personally provide an audition preparation section where performers can learn successful audition strategies and practices that can help you land the role of your dream. The fee is $20 for the pre-audition workshop opportunity. Pay at the door.

Please be sure to dress in appropriate dance attire and shoes for the audition. Women: character/ballroom heels- leotard, leggings or tights are highly encouraged; Men: jazz shoes-comfortable dance attire.

Please bring a headshot and up to date resume.

Summer Classes Available- Show Date: August 19th 2023!

I am offering summer classes or intensives this summer to help your child make progress at a quicker pace! They will be able to train with me twice a week during the summer only and we will celebrate their growth in August as they will perform their individual pieces. Morning lessons will be available starting June 19th, but afternoons are still available if they are needed.
Available Morning Times: M-Th 9:30am-11am, Saturday 9:30-11am
Available Afternoon Times: M-Th, 4pm-6pm

OPEN CALL AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT:

In respect of the holiday weekend, we are rescheduling the open call audition to a later date. Please stay tuned for the new date in that we will be sharing it out as soon as we have it.

Viani's Performing Arts Academy spring program "O Glorious Broadway" did not disappoint. These beautiful students of mine- some that have been training for only a few months, and some that have been with me for several years- are coming into their own and delivered their best performance to date!!! The performing arts takes years to refine and perfect and I tell you what- I couldn't be more proud. My summer intensive program will be starting the first week of June and I can't WAIT to get started!

I would have posted this sooner but life gets in the way sometimes 😊 I am so very proud of all my students this past weekend! I saw them not only develop their artistic skills but also their life skills. Some of them demonstrating bravery and courage by performing on the stage all by themselves for the first time, and I couldn't be more proud. I am also very humbled by the constant blessings bestowed on this emerging business- we were filled to capacity with standing room only left, and again I am astounded by the bravery of my students with such a large audience. One of our more beautiful events, "Magical Moments " is definitely one for the books!
