☯️ QI GONG - MICRO COSMIC ORBIT ☯️

In Qi Gong, the Microcosmic Orbit is an internal meditative practice of circulating vital energy (qi) through two main pathways: the Governor Vessel (Du meridian), which runs up the back along the spine, and the Conception Vessel (Ren meridian), which runs down the front of the body. By creating this circular flow, the practice aims to harmonize yin and yang energies, balance the body's systems, and cultivate vitality.

The pathway

* Up the back: Energy is mentally guided up the spine along the Governor Vessel, from the base of the spine to the crown of the head, and then down the front of the face to the mouth area.

* Down the front: From the mouth area, the energy flows down the front of the body. through the throat, chest, and abdomen, returning to the perineum and the starting point.

The purpose

* Energy circulation: The practice creates a continuous loop that circulates energy throughout the body.

* Yin and Yang balance: It helps to create a balance between the yin (Conception Vessel on the front) and yang (Governor Vessel on the back) energies.

* Harmonization and vitality: By circulating and blending the different types of qi, the practice can lead to a harmonious and balanced body, mind, and spirit.

* Reconnection: It is said to reconnect the energy pathways that were once one in the womb before being separated after birth.
