Mornings used to be a mess. Coffee first, then whatever vitamins I could remember to grab. I felt like I was guessing and threw down everything gnc had to offer, not knowing what was working or not.

A number of coaches I respect make AG1 their choice. While I don't sell supps or even think they solve big problems they are convenient and replaced all my pills with one scoop.

Not because it's flashy, but because it's the one thing in my routine I never have to think about. Multivitamin, pre- and probiotics, superfoods, antioxidants, all in the same glass of water I'm already drinking before I check my phone.

The difference I actually notice isn't dramatic, it's steady. Fewer afternoon crashes. Digestion that doesn't fight me. The kind of baseline energy that makes it easier to actually want to work out, cook a real meal, show up for the rest of the day instead of just surviving it.

My favorite exercise this week.

Modified JM Press

A combination of close grip bench and a skull crusher.

This move hits the triceps with high tension and a slow lowering as you are aiming the throat at the bar.

Let's the Gains Begin! 💪

Stop saving your best effort for later.

Most people do it without realizing it.

You hit 10 reps, but could’ve done 15.

So you hold back to “save something” for the next set.

But your first hard set is when you’re freshest.

That’s your best chance to find out what you actually have.

Push it.

Let the later sets get harder.

That’s the point.

I call it the First Set Mindset.

Your edge gives you information.
Your comfort zone doesn’t.

Take the breath.
Reset.
Keep going.

You’re allowed to breathe.

You’re just not allowed to quit because your breathing changed.

Training both sides at the same time is efficient.

Training them one at a time exposes the truth.

Unilateral training has a way of finding the side that’s weaker, less stable, or simply not doing its share of the work.

This full-body session was built around single-side movements—challenging strength, balance, coordination and control without needing to chase heavier and heavier loads.

And there’s a nice side effect:

Your core doesn’t get the option to sit this one out. 😅

One side. Then the other. Make both earn it.

Our physical abilities rarely vanish overnight.
The body trains for tomorrow based on what it is asked to do today.

Workout B Theme: Isometric strength + unilateral control + muscular endurance.

Lots of time under tension without needing heavy loading.

Glutes → pull → legs → push → overhead stability → hang/grip → trunk → upper-back stability, with isometrics and ALAP sets providing the primary overload stimulus.

3 Generations of women have spent a lifetime trying to shrink.⁣

Nobody ever mentioned what they actually need most in middle age.

Strength is carrying your own groceries in one trip.

Helping an aging parent in an emergency, without calling for help.

Stairs you don't think twice about.

Trips you don't have to turn down.

None of that comes from a smaller number on the scale. It comes from muscle you built and kept.⁣

And here's the part nobody tells you: BUT it is never too late. ⁣

Your body still responds. ⁣

It doesn't care how old you are or how long it's been.⁣

You don't have to get smaller.⁣
You get to get stronger.

𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆." — 𝗗𝗿. 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝘆𝗼𝗻⁣

Read that one more time.⁣

Not muscle makes you look good.
Not muscle burns a few extra calories.

Muscle is the organ of longevity.⁣

Most of us were raised on a different message. Eat less. Weigh less. Take up less room. ⁣

Times are changing.
Accept no less.

Always Fwd 💪
