Congratulations 松本敬, , and Mei Mei for representing EBJI at the United States Judo Federation Summer Nationals today!

Taka went 3-1 to take third place 🥉 in the Senior Men’s 81kg division.

Daniel went 3-0 to take first place 🥇 in Cadet 55kg.

Mei Mei went 3-1 to take first place 🥇 in Cadet 63kg.

Good job team 👏🏼 🎉

EBJI travelled to Idaho this weekend for Southern Idaho Judo’s annual tournament.

We had a successful competition, went fishing and ate ice cream.

Our Tuesday night adult class is growing!

This recreational class is geared towards teaching the philosophical and technical aspects of while offering a light-moderate cardio and muscular exercise routine.

Congratulations 🎉 to Mei Mei and Daniel who both placed at the High School Nationals today in Fresno!

Mei Mei went 3-0 to take gold in the female 63kg division and Daniel went 2-1 to take silver in the male 55kg division.

This past week we started an Intro to Judo Class for family members of existing members!

The class meets once a week for 8 weeks and covers the basics from how to properly put on your judogi to basic ukemi.

Everyone had great attitudes, made new friends and had fun 🤩!

Congratulations to EBJI’s newest Shodan (first degree ), Saiya!

Saiya started judo at EBJI when she was only 4 years old.

Now at the age of 16 she is a multiple-time Junior National Champion and recent winner of the Athlete Scholar of the Year Award.

Above all her accolades, Saiya is a dedicated and respectful hard-worker who is a role model for other students at the dojo.

She’s currently a junior in high school with aspirations of becoming a veterinarian.

Congratulations Saiya! Well deserved!
