What a week in San Diego. So very proud of our Mavericks! ๐๐ They fell short in the semi finals, ending 3rd overall, but they were on FIRE this week! ๐ฅโพ๏ธ
After their last local tournament at Mather they got news that NCS was moving them up a division, which started with this San Diego Tournament. I think everyone was a little unsure how that move would play out, but they showed just how much hard work they have put in and they can definitely hang in this division ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
Next week, Reno World Series! Letโs go boys, go get โem

Youโre looking at the NCS Western State Champions 14U! Our boys played well this Fatherโs Day weekend. Pitching was on point with 26 strikeouts over 4 games. Mavs defense turned several double plays and kept the runs from scoring across the plate all weekend. 3 runs allowed Saturday in two games and 3 runs allowed Sunday in two games. Mavericks line up was solid from top to bottom with one of our players hitting 4 triples (3 in one game)and several of our players went 2 for 3 and 3 for 3 per game. 35 hits over 4 games, with 13 hits in the championship game. Mavericks keep showing up strong and magic will happen. The beauty of baseball shined on these boys this weekend. Onto the next tournament. Letโs go Mavericks! ๐๐๐โพ๏ธ๐
