Raise your hand if you've bought something for your home — paint, a rug, tile, furniture — and it looked completely different once it was actually in your space. 🙋
It's one of the most common (and expensive) homeowner experiences there is. And it almost always comes back to the same thing: making design decisions without being able to see the result first.
HomeZada's Visual Design AI works from a photo of your actual room, exterior, or yard — not someone else's beautifully staged space. You upload the photo, explore design ideas, generate multiple versions, and compare them before you spend a dollar or start a project.
You can redesign the full space or just change one thing — flooring, paint, countertops, cabinets, whatever you're considering. And when you find a direction you love, HomeZada can help you build out a materials list and realistic budget to go with it.
See it in your home first. Then decide.

Preparedness looks different depending on where home is.
Late summer can bring wildfire and smoke concerns across parts of the West, tropical-weather risk along the Gulf and Atlantic coasts, and severe storms or flooding across parts of the Midwest and South.
But every household may eventually need the same kinds of information: insurance details, room photos, receipts, renovation records and important contacts.
The hazard changes. The need for accessible home records does not.
What type of emergency is most important to prepare for where you live?

September is National Preparedness Month—but preparing your home’s information does not have to become one enormous weekend project.
Start with one room and 15 minutes.
Photograph what is visible, then open the closets, cabinets and drawers. Capture model or serial numbers when they are easy to reach. Add receipts, warranties and renovation details gradually.
Make sure the records can be accessed outside the home and that another trusted household member knows where to find them.
One room recorded now is more useful than a perfect inventory that never gets started.
Save this checklist for your first pass.
