Hola! Learn to dance tango! I am giving an Absolute Beginner Tango Class at Rio Grande Campus (close to downtown) of the El Paso Community College this Summer. Beginner Tango Part 1 starts on June 12 and Beginner Tango Part 2 on July 24. Strong fundamentals of tango will help you solidify your dancing and increase your enjoyment. I will help demystify the tango jargon and tango etiquette so that you will be ready to go to the tango dances around town with confidence. Please register this upcoming week. Now Escape into the world of Argentine Tango in this 4-week course designed especially for beginners. You will learn the fundamentals of tango including basics steps to help you navigate the dance floor. Students will learn exercises to help improve their dance technique, the basic tango steps, giros (turns), and how to connect with others on the dance floor. Hello! October 10, 2023, from 8:00 Pm to 10:00 Pm, Baker Dance Studio will host a Tango Practica. All skills levels from beginners to advanced are welcome. Dress attire is casual / comfortable. Bring your dance shoes (or socks) and come practice with us in a fun Argentine tango environment where you get to take charge of what you want to focus on to refine your tango skill set. Remember, classes teach you new material but it’s practice that turns that information into the knowledge that makes it your own. The cost is $7 cash per person at the door. Bring your own beverage (BYOB.)
