At Sun City Taekwondo belt testing isn’t given, it’s earned.
Today, our students stepped onto the mat and showed what discipline, perseverance, and true martial spirit look like. Every form sharpened. Every kick stronger. Every challenge faced head-on.
This is more than a belt… it’s proof of growth. 🥋🔥

Our Little Dragons taekwondo program is designed to introduce martial arts at the pre-k to kinder age levels 4 to 6 years old.
🥋Physically, it enhances gross motor skills, balance, coordination, and flexibility.
🥋Mentally, it builds discipline, focus, and self-control, while emotionally, it boosts confidence and self-esteem.
🥋Socially, children learn respect, courtesy, and teamwork, which can also lead to a positive impact on their behavior and academic performance.

Martial arts are increasingly becoming popular among young girls, offering benefits like increased self-esteem, discipline, and self-defense skills.
This advanced class had nothing but girls come in and train together. After class began we realized there were no boys in class. Increased involvement among females is trend we have been seeing across multiple disciplines in martial arts. Taekwondo is one of the most popular martial arts for female participation.
