El Paso Tejanos vs Apes SW

El Paso Tejanos 13U snatched the lead late in the game in a 7-5 victory over APE SW 14U on Sunday. El Paso Tejanos was down 4-3 in the top of the fourth inning when El Paso Tejanos scored two runs on a stolen base.

El Paso Tejanos earned the victory despite allowing APE SW to score three runs in the third inning.

El Paso Tejanos opened up scoring in the first inning, when Leo Fernandez singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Andrew Vega got the start for El Paso Tejanos. Andrew lasted three innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out two.

El Paso Tejanos 13U racked up eight hits. Omar, Leo, and Nathan each racked up multiple hits for El Paso Tejanos 13. Nathan, Leo, and Omar each collected two hits to lead El Paso Tejanos. El Paso Tejanos didn't commit a single error in the field. Beckett Babb had the most chances in the field with five. El Paso Tejanos tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Andrew Vega led the way with two.
