Suishinkan Dojo - Shinshinryu USA El Paso

Suishin Kan, carving its way in the El Paso martial art scene since 2014. Suishin Kan is one of the schools that have branched from Border Partol Chief Carl McClafferty's sword school. Now under the direction of Menkyo Kaiden holding Keupp sensei and run by 6th Dan, Ramirez sensei.

Sword Sundays. Join us Sunday mornings at Mamorial park. 10:30am-12:00pm. Next class is May 17th.

Brisk morning of training at the Suishin kan. We warmed up with kihon and then dove into wakizashi practice, aka leg day.

Fall practice at Suishinkan.

It's been raining for about a day now and two students were able to come train today. We focused on building kata, training the muscles used in fencing, and learned to block with intent.
Suishinkan currently has six practicing students, we need 4 more. Come out and learn a feudal martial art.

Fall training is about to begin and some strong students have begun checking out the class. Today, we started with no bu kata and then began to learn how our two person forms work, kumitachi.

Suishin Kan is happy to have two new students, Dylan and Victor, training with us. If you've been considering trying a class now, it would be a great time as we are slowly going over the basics. We practice late Sunday morning from 10:45 to 12:15.
