Kilkenny pool is not going to open for the summer. A private swimming company is going to use the pool and operate it with their own money. We could not operate with the limitations and late start. I hear that they are already making improvements. Going forward they will continue to operate the pool. We have had discussions that this is a community based pool and the goal is to continue to be available for the community. This is too large of a responsibility for only 1 or 2 people to manage. Their resource pool is much larger. There has been no interest in active leadership to assist in the operations. We made the decision that we thought would be in the best interests of the community as a whole. Thank you

Its is with a heavy heart we regret inform you that it's looking as though the city will continue to keep all public pools closed for the duration of the summer 😔 We hope that all of our members and their families stay in good health. We're hoping all this will end as quickly as it begun.
