I am a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso where I was given the opportunity to play from the fall of 2007 to the spring of 2012. Some of my accomplishments that I received while playing at UTEP include: Conference USA Female Athlete of the year (2012), NFCA First team
All-American (2012), Easton First Team All-American (2012), 2 time Conference USA player of the year (2009, 2011), 4 time All-Conference USA First Team (2008, 2009, 2010, 2012), 3 time NFCA All-Midwest Region first team Selection (2009, 2010, 2012), 4 time Conference USA player of the week, Conference USA All- Tournament Team (2009), Conference USA All-Freshman Team (2008). I also set a new NCAA record for homeruns per game (0.60), second in the NCAA record books for slugging percentage (1.199), and second in the record books for homeruns in a single season with a nation’s leading 32 homeruns in 2012. I spend summer of 2012 in Italy playing softball for the San Marino Hornets in a professional league. I graduated from UTEP May of 2012 with a degree in Kinesiology-Physical Education with a minor in Education. I love teaching and working with children and hoping to become a coach. I am very passionate about softball and I love the opportunity to be able to spread my knowledge about this game to the younger athletes.
