Waikiki Beach. 25 years ago, I stepped on this beach for the very first time as a young Soldier. I was in AWE. I was humbled. And for the very first time in my life I was grounded. On my own, directing my own life instead of other trying to direct me. Even after living here for 8 years this place never ceases to draw me into awe: it never ceases to amaze me in how quickly it grounds my soul every time put my bare foot in the sand water. This place hosts alot of firsts. My first time flying. My first time at a beach. My first time getting pummeled by a 15ft wave. Met my first and only husband here. We had our first son here. Grew as woman, mother, and Soldier here. Went from Private to Sergeant in 2 years here. Found LIFE, LOVE, and LOVE for LIFE here. Above all that, I found a mustard seed of FAITH here.
25 years later, it is no longer a seed but a massive tree of life and love and love or life. So grateful to have the opportunity to give back to the people of the land, a land that gave so much back to me ❤️

Tonight at 6pm (MST), We will be hosting a free Taekwondo Zoom class. If you are interested in participating in doing some light workouts and learning some basic Martial Art movements, feel free to message us that you're interested and we'll send you the link to the meeting.

It's a nice, breezy day to learn some Taekwon-do & Self-defense!! Classes at the Don Haskins Recreation Park are from 3:15 to 4:00pm for Home schoolers, 4:15 to 5:00pm for Beginner Kids, and 5:15 to 6:00pm for Beginner Adults EVERY Tuesdays for the month of October!!
Bring a water, loose workout attire, a jacket (if needed), comfortable workout shoes, and the attitude to learn!
