2 Gun-El Paso Gun Range

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

As many of you are aware, I announced a year ago that I planned on stepping down from running this club. As a year has come and gone, I will no longer be the president of the El Paso Multigun and this club should be considered defunct.

Two people, Trey and Mike, are going to be taking over the equipment from me and will be using it to start their own club. They have made a good-faith commitment to run a competitive shooting match on the 4th Saturday of every month and I will be assisting them in the immediate future.

Effective immediately, the 4th Saturday competitions will be IDPA-style matches with the goal of bringing an official IDPA club back to El Paso.

Match announcements will be posted here until they create their own means of communicating match information with the shooting community.

I have removed my contact information from this page and there is no reason to contact me personally about competitions. If you have any questions for me, you can ask me them IRL at a match.

If any questions are posted on this page, I will do my best to answer them.

The match for tomorrow is being canceled due to the forecasted wind. It will be held on the 4th Saturday of next month.

Right now there are high winds forecasted for Saturday. If the forecast remains the same tomorrow, this match will be pushed out to May.

MATCH ANNOUNCEMENT

The plan for this month is to have a Shotgun/Pistol match on the 4th Saturday. Setup will begin at 8am with the safety briefing being as close to 9am as possible. The match will consist of 3 stages with a round count of 40 shotgun and 60 pistol. Shotgun shells need to use lead shot and be no larger than #6 in size.

Match fee will be $20. Please ask any questions early.

If you would like to attend but don't have a shotgun just bring some budget 12 gauge ammo.

EPMG February 3-gun 3-gun, 3 stages. Round count 50 Pistol / 50 Rifle / 30 Shotgun (birdshot). Longest shot will about approx 225 yards. Match fee is $20, collected at the match. Registration will also be available at the match.

We've gotten enough sign-ins on practiscore and verbal commitments to hold the match.

Currently, there are only 5 shooters signed up for the match next Saturday. If we cannot get to 10 shooters I will be cancelling the match for lack of interest.
