Donuts and chips are not good fuel. They make you feel full for a minute, but then you feel hungry again.
You are not “just getting old.” You just need better fuel!
Eat real food like steak, eggs, and greens. It will give you the spark you need to keep up with your kids.

I lost 50 pounds and I didn’t use willpower.
What I used was a lunchbox.
Most dads fail their diet by 12:30 PM.
Why? Because they didn’t plan.
When you’re hungry and you’re stressed, you’re going to grab whatever’s convenient. Fast food. Office donuts.
You can’t fight hunger with discipline. Hunger wins every single time.
So what’s the solution? You got to stop winging it.
That’s what I did. I started packing high-protein, low-calorie lunches.
• Big on greens.
• Low-calorie wraps.
• Lean protein.
If you have that stuff on hand, I promise you’re going to win. If you have to go looking for food, you’re going to lose.

You ate junk all weekend. Now you feel bad.
Monday: You panic. You starve. You run for hours.

Stop starving yourself. Eat more instead. 🥗
I saw a video of someone chewing food and spitting it into a bag just to save calories.
This is not the way to lose weight. 🛑
If you are tempted to do this, it means you are too hungry. I have been there! When I was losing 50 pounds, I was so hungry I couldn’t think.
But I learned a secret: you just need to eat the right foods.
When you eat “high-volume” foods (foods that fill your plate but are low in calories), you feel full and happy. You won’t want to cheat because your belly is actually full.
Stop trying to starve. Just change what you eat!

WHAT I STOPPED DOING TO LOSE 50 LBS 📉
I stopped walking into the gas station and sabotaging my day. ⛽
I used to grab the “Dad Breakfast”:
• Large sugary coffee ☕
• Giant muffin 🧁
• Plain bagel 🥯
That’s 800 calories of pure junk. By 9 AM, I already ate half my food for the day. I was crashing by noon and had zero energy to play with my kids after work. 😴
So I stopped. 🛑
I started making coffee at home. I grabbed two eggs and a yogurt.
I saved hundreds of calories and kept my energy high all day. ⚡
That simple swap is how the 50 pounds came off.

DADS: STOP EATING LIKE YOU’RE ALREADY THIN.
Your shirts are too tight.
Your pants don’t fit.
You do NOT need a cheat meal.
You see fit guys crushing pizza and think:
“I can do that too.”
Wrong.
They are in maintenance.
You still have 50 pounds to lose.
Until you drop the gut, 100% of your meals need to look like this:
🥩 Clean protein.
🚫 Zero junk.
You have to put in the work first.
Once you hit your goal weight? THEN you unlock the 85/15 rule.
✅ 85% clean eating.
🍻 15% wiggle room (a beer or pizza here and there).
That’s exactly how I lost 50 pounds and kept it off.

Your weekend is destroying your math. 📉
Dads, you don’t wake up 50 lbs overweight by accident. It happens through weekend system leaks.
You starve yourself Monday through Thursday. You play by the rules. But by Friday night, your cravings are completely out of control. You eat in a massive surplus from Friday night to Sunday night, wiping out all your hard work.
The math averages out, and your waistline never changes. Thermodynamics doesn’t care about your feelings.
You don’t need more willpower; you need better fuel to kill the cravings before they start.

Your driveway shouldn’t be a hiding spot. 🛑
If you’re sitting in the car right now dreading walking through that front door because your tank is on zero, listen up.
It isn’t because you’re getting older. It’s because you are running a high-performance engine on garbage fuel. You work a full shift, eat processed food, and expect to have the battery power to chase a toddler at 5 PM.
The math doesn’t work.
I was exhausted every single day until I realized it was a system failure. I dropped 50 lbs and got my life back just by swapping the cheap fuel for dense protein.
