[ARTICLE] Acid, the Enemy of the Quick—Excerpt from The Quick and the Dead.

When your bursts of effort are too long or if your rests are too brief—as in HIIT or metcons—acid cuts your power. No longer able to contract quickly and powerfully, fatigued muscles compensate with longer and weaker contractions. This messes up movement coordination. It could mean failing to catch dinner—or becoming dinner yourself. Even if you have avoided such a fate, you are learning slowness and poor form for the next time.

Kettlebells require practice and skill sets in order to learn proper technique. I always grease the groove of all Strongfirst skills in order to stay fine tuned. Never give up hope and know that you will have the feat of strength. 💪💪💪💪

For all you gireviks, try this one for size. Use two bells that you could press 5-7 reps. Pull-push concept. Only complete 15 minutes. See how many rounds you could get. Feat of strength!

Double Clean (1,2,3,4,5)
Double squat thrusters (1,2,3,4,5)

***Rest 15 seconds between rungs***
**One minute between ladders**
