As this season comes to an end, so does a chapter of my life that has shaped me more than I can put into words.
After almost 10 years with The Rinks (and my time with the Junior Ducks), I’ll be moving on and heading to Colorado. Hockey has been such a huge part of my life, especially through my 20s, and it’s wild to think about how much these programs and this community have shaped who I’m becoming.
This wasn’t just a job for me. It was where I learned how to lead, how to grow, how to show up for people, and honestly how to figure myself out along the way. The early mornings, long days, tough moments, big wins, and everything in between all mattered more than I probably realized at the time.
To everyone I’ve worked with over the years — coaches, staff, parents, and especially the players — thank you. Every single one of you taught me something, and I’m so grateful for the support, friendships, and memories that came with it.
This isn’t goodbye — I’ll still be coaching once I’m in Denver, and hockey will always be a part of my life. Before I go (and when I’m back visiting), I’ll also be hosting some fun pickup skates for both kids and adults, so stay tuned for details 👀
So much love for this community 🧡🦆🏒
