Fun start to the weekend. Managed to get out on Friday and find a handful of snakes! Largest one weighed in just shy of 10 lbs and came up with another 10 lbs of grass...

Put the rods to the test and pulled a few snakes through some thick cover. Need to use the right tools for the right job! These fish had some beautiful markings.

I was stoked to finally put together this custom rod build for Brian Scott, the winner of last year's Stormborn Baits Team Tournament. A quality build for a quality lure!! I made sure to put a little extra 🔥 into this one. Built on a North Fork Composites Delta blank, a metallic red spiral wrap dragon scale, red woven carbon grips and Batson Enterprises tangle free guides. Pics don't show the true depth!! No better feeling seeing a rod perform exactly as designed. Chris Schmidt got this rod for his son last year and it pulled this tank out of the thick! Thanks for sharing...love it!

Delivered up a super slick catfish rod for my guy Chris Weber. He had a couple ideas but gave me free reign on a lot of it. The foundation of this rod is a beast of a Batson Enterprises Rainshadow 7'10 moderate action blank rated for 2-5 oz to really loft out some big baits. That moderate action blank has an awesome parabolic bend under load. The overall theme was a lot of bright neon green and a really complementary blue...including a super sweet anodized aluminum cobalt blue reel. Added a little thread wrap with the same colors...Love it 🔥🔥
