Our Day Farm

Developing International Riders For Over 30 Years Our Day Farm is an elite horse farm specializing in the sales and training of high-quality show horses.

Founded by Alex and Linda Jayne, the farm has grown into a family enterprise, with all three of the Jayne children now working at the farm as professinional riders and trainers. Our Day is based in Elgin, Illinois during the summer months and Wellington, Florida during the winter. This allows easy access to the highest levels of "AA" rated hunter/jumper shows year round.

Lamplight Fall Classic —

Leah Cortez made her horse show debut aboard Stonewall Surprise and came away with a 🥈 in the Groundpole Equitation. We’re very proud of how far Leah has come this summer and all the hard work she’s put in.

Hearsay and Jonathan Cohen finished up their summer campaign with a 5th place finish in the $5000 USHJA National Derby.

Easter Lily & Maggie Jayne jumped to 8th place in the $24,500 Lamplight Grand Prix.

Nanu Mehta helped give Firecracker ODF his horse show debut with smooth rounds in the .80m Open and Puddle Jumpers.

Ultraviolet and Coco Gott had consistent rounds all week and came away with 6th in the .90m Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic.

Michelle Regan rode really beautifully all week with CGF Radar Love and CGF Pepper Royale. She rode Radar to🥉in the Puddle Jumper Classic. Radar was also a blue ribbon winner in two .90m Young Jumper Classes with Maggie Jayne.

CGF Lady Power jumped several lovely rounds with Haylie Rolfe in the 1.10m Open Jumpers, winning 🥇 a class along the way.

Rhys Edson-Merlau earned a 6th place with J’espere in the 1.10m Jr/Am Jumper and followed it up with an 8th with Verdi O’Merveilles in the classic.

Betelgeuse ODF & Sara Gentry had lovely rounds and finished 🥈in a combined 3’3” Jr/Amateur Owner Hunter class.

Equifest 3 — Lamplight

Easter Lily 🐰 and Maggie Jayne closed out their summer finishing 8th in the $20,000 Alliant Private Client Cup and 9th in the $35,000 John Deere Grand Prix.

J’espere and Rhys Edson-Merlau came away with a 7th place finish in the 1.15m Jr/Am Jumper Classic. Rhys also finished 4th in a 1.10m Jr/Am class with Verdi O’Merveilles.

Cordessco and Lindsay Claytor earned a 🥇 and 🥉 in the Puddle Jumpers to complete their fault-free 🧹 summer!

CGF Radar Love and Michelle Regan won 🥇 a class in the Itty-Bitty Jumpers. Radar also earned a blue ribbon 🥇 in the 1m Young Jumpers with Maggie Jayne.

CGF Lady Power and Maggie Jayne jumped to a 🥉, 4th, and 5th in the 1.10m Open Jumpers.

Now it’s time for a well-deserved rest 🥱 as the kids make their way back to school and the horses spend a little extra time in the paddock💚 💙

Apollo Anton ODF - 2022 Warmblood Gelding

Recently started under saddle and showing lots of jumping potential. This horse is bred to jump—just look at his lineage! Lovely movement, incredibly snappy in front, and already started changing leads while jumping. Stands on crossties, pleasant to handle on the ground, and sweet in the stall. You don’t want to miss this one!

The kids had a blast at USEF Pony Finals as their final stop on the way back to start school this week in Florida.

Chewy and Harley Gould delivered an important double clear 💙💙 performance for their team in the Small Pony Jumper championship. This was only Harley’s 8th horse show, ever, and we’re so proud of how much she’s progressed as a rider this year.

Pineapple & Oliver Rolfe came away with a clear 💙 in the Small Pony Jumper Farewell class.

Magic Cowgirl and Oliver Rolfe started off their week with a clear 💙 in the first phase of the Medium Pony Jumper championship.

Easter Lily & Maggie Jayne jumped consistent clear rounds to finish 🥈 in the $20,000 Alliant Private Client Cup and 4th in the $35,000 Finish Line Grand Prix.

Oliver Rolfe ended the week tying both Magic Cowgirl and Pineapple for the Championship in the Pony Jumpers 🏆🏆 with each winning classes along the way.

Chloe Rolfe made her debut in the Groundpole Equitation with Stonewall Surprise and had the best time!

Egane and Clementine Jordan capped off their summer tour with a 🥈 in the .90m Jr/Am Jumper Classic. Clementine also wrapped up her time with Cillbhrid Pippa by earning a 🥈 in the Puddle Jumpers.

Chewy and Harley Gould finished 🥈 and 🥉 in the Pony Jumpers to earn the Reserve Championship 🏆

Rhys Edson-Merlau and Verdi O’Merveilles jumped to a 🥈 in the 1.10m Jr/Am Jumpers.

Maylin Rolfe got in one more horse show in the Crossrail Olympic Jumpers to end her summer season.

CGF Lady Power and Haylie Rolfe earned a 🥇and 🥈 in the 1m and 1.10m Young Jumpers.

CGF Radar Love and Maggie Jayne moved up to the 1m Young Jumpers and came away with a 🥇.

Lamplight Summertime 3 —

Cordessco & Lindsay Claytor earned the Puddle Jumper championship 🏆 after winning 🥇 their first class and finishing 🥈 in the Classic. PC Andrew Ryback

Michigan ODF & Haylie Rolfe finished 5th in the $25,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby.

⭐️⭐️ Lamplight Summertime 1, HITS Chicago

J’espere & Rhys Edson-Merlau were the winners 🥇 of the 1.15m Jr/Am Jumper Classic.

Rhys also finished 🥈 in the 1.15m Jr/Am Classic with his new partner, Verdi O’Merveilles.

Hearsay gave Alita Liggett her 3’3” Junior Hunter Debut and came away with the Championship 🏆 after earning 🥇🥇🥇🥈🥈.

Easter Lily & Maggie Jayne finished 3rd in the $20,000 Allianz Private Client Cup and 5th in the $35,000 Douglas Elliman Grand Prix.

Egane & Clementine Jordan finished 🥇🥇🥈🥈 to earn the Championship 🏆 in the .90m Jr/Am Jumpers, winning the classic along the way..

Cillbhrid Pippa & Clementine Jordan earned the Reserve Championship 🏆 in the Puddle Jumper division with a 🥇 and 🥉 to their credit.

Cordessco & Lindsay Claytor earned top ribbons in the Itty-Bitty Jumpers with a 🥇 & 🥈as well as a 🥈 in the classic.

CGF Radar Love & Michelle Regan were 🥈 & 🥈 in the Itty-Bitty Jumpers prior to earning a 4th in the Classic. Radar also earned two 🥇🥇 in the .90m Young Jumpers with Maggie Jayne.

CGF Lady Power & Haylie Rolfe finsihed 🥇 in the 1m Young Jumper and 🥉 in the 1.10m Open Jumper.

CGF Pepper Royale & Haylie Rolfe earned a 🥉, 4th, and 6th in the 1.0m Open Jumpers.

Jalapeño ODF & Rhys Edson-Merlau earned a 🥇 in the .90m Young Jumper.

Chewy and Harley Gould made their mark on the first week of Lake Placid with a 🥈 🥈and 🥉 to earn the Reserve Championship 🏆 in the Itty-Bitty Jumpers.

Thanks to Charlie & Nicole LLC for taking up the training duties for us in New York and keeping Harley’s hot streak going!
