✨ SKYLAR | AAU NATIONAL TEAM & JUNIOR OLYMPIC CHAMPION✨
HISTORY. MADE. 🥹🏆❤️
Skylar just did something that has NEVER been done before in River City Gymnastics history…
She is officially an AAU National Team Member! 🇺🇸✨
To earn a spot on the AAU National Team, a Diamond gymnast must finish with one of the TOP 4 highest All-Around scores at Junior Olympics — and Skylar did exactly that with an incredible 37.700, finishing 2nd All-Around! 🥈
And she absolutely STACKED the podium along the way:
🥇 AAU Junior Olympic Champion – Beam | 9.475
🥈 Vault | 9.250
🥈 Bars | 9.300
🥈 Floor | 9.675
🥈 All-Around | 37.700
And then came EVENT FINALS! 🔥
Skylar qualified for finals on THREE events and came back to compete against the best of the best:
🥈 2nd – Floor | 9.600
🥉 3rd – Beam | 9.250
🏅 4th – Bars | 9.200
But beyond all of the medals and scores, Skylar made River City Gymnastics history. ❤️
Being our FIRST EVER AAU National Team member is an accomplishment that will forever have her name attached to it. What she has accomplished is HUGE, and we could not be more excited, proud, and honored to watch her represent our gym at this level! 🇺🇸✨
