Butler's Golf Course - located in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, opened in 1928 and 45 minutes southeast of Pittsburgh. Butler's is home to two 18-hole golf courses – Woodside and Lakeside – popular among local golfers. With a serene setting along the banks of the Youghiogheny River, Woodside features gently rolling terrain and classic design features and has a final stretch, holes No. 16 through No. 18

, Golf Digest calls “amongst the best three finishing holes anywhere in Pennsylvania.”

Lakeside showcases dramatic vistas, elevation changes and no parallel fairways. Generous landing areas and few blind shots make the course a must-play for novices and more experienced golfers alike. The clubhouse features a fully-stocked Golf Shop with a complete selection of golf apparel and equipment. With a new menu, The Rock Run Inn serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily and is perfect for post-round relaxation and host to numerous holiday themed buffets and events. ⛳️🏓 29 Years of Friendship, Tradition & a Weekend at Butler’s! 🏡

We were honored to welcome a great group of friends for their 29th annual get-together — and their first time spending the weekend with us at Butler’s Golf Course!

The group stayed at the John Butler House and spent the weekend doing what a getaway at Butler’s is all about — playing plenty of golf, enjoying Rock Run Inn, relaxing at the house, and, of course, fitting in some ping pong! 🏓

And there’s a great story behind that ping pong table — ping pong is the game that originally brought this group of friends together nearly 30 years ago! ❤️

They shared this with us after their stay:

“Butler’s was the perfect host for our 29th annual event with our friends from Michigan. We all especially enjoyed the Butler House. The convenience to the course and restaurant was great. All the course staff and restaurant staff were very friendly. The house gave us a great time to get together and catch up on the past year. It also gave us a great background to enjoy the game that brought us all together!”

A special thank you to Byron for helping Randy and Dan put together such a great weekend!
