⚾πŸ”₯ Celebrate This Kid! πŸ”₯⚾

What a weekend at the in Pigeon Forge!

πŸ† In the semifinal game, he took the mound and delivered a complete 6-inning performance, striking out 8 batters and leading his team to a big win.

πŸ’£ Then in the championship game, he came through again with an inside-the-park home run, helping fuel his team’s run to the title game.

πŸ₯ˆ His team finished as Runner-Up, but the effort, toughness, and all-around performance he showed all weekend deserve recognition.

Keep grinding. Keep developing. Keep getting 1% Better Every Day. His training facility

1% Better: The adjustments that change everything β€” at the plate, on the mound, AND in the field.

πŸ”Έ Hitters: Hunt your pitch. Attack inside heat. Let breaking balls travel.

πŸ”Έ Pitchers: Command the zone. Win the count. Trust your stuff.

πŸ”Έ Fielders: First step wins. Glove side leads. Throw with purpose.

That’s not a tip list. That’s a compete plan β€” and it’s what we build every day at NXT 1UP Baseball Performance in Elizabethtown, KY.

6 batting cages. HitTrax. A dedicated pitching tunnel. Plyo wall. Baseball Rebellion methodology. We develop the complete player β€” hitters, pitchers, AND fielders β€” from youth to college level.

And if you’re gonna train like a competitor, you might as well look like one.

🚨 NCAA’s Proposed β€œ5-in-5” Rule Could Change College Sports Forever 🚨

The NCAA is moving toward a major eligibility change that could reshape recruiting, roster management, and athlete development.

πŸ“Œ What is the proposed β€œ5-in-5” rule?

Student-athletes would receive:

βœ… 5 seasons of competition
βœ… Within a strict 5-year eligibility window
βœ… Starting after high school graduation or when they turn 19 (whichever comes first)

This means:

❌ No traditional redshirt seasons
❌ Fewer medical hardship waivers
❌ Less ability to extend college careers through delayed enrollment

Why is the NCAA considering this change?

πŸ”Ή Simplify eligibility rules
πŸ”Ή Reduce legal challenges and lawsuits
πŸ”Ή Create more predictable roster management
πŸ”Ή Help coaches plan scholarships and recruiting cycles

What could it mean for athletes?

⚾ Baseball players may need to make college decisions earlier.
πŸ₯Ž Softball players could have less flexibility after injuries.
🏈 Football programs may see significant recruiting strategy shifts.
πŸŽ“ Junior college pathways and developmental timelines could look very different.

Current college athletes are expected to be protected under transition provisions, while incoming high school athletes would likely be the first group affected.

Parents, athletes, and coaches should be paying close attention because this proposal could impact recruiting opportunities, scholarship planning, roster spots, and long-term player development for years to come.

Do you think the NCAA’s proposed 5-in-5 rule helps or hurts student-athletes?
