Central Kentucky Adult Baseball Association Central Kentucky Adult Baseball Association (CKABA) ia a non-profit organization. CKABA provides a recreational/competitive adult baseball league.

The league currently includes two age group divisions 45+ & 60+. Teams replicate MLB names & uniforms.

It's Thursday and CKABA Fall Baseball was back in action at the Elizabethtown Sports Park. The South took on the West today; and yes the South done it again taking this game in a big way 16-4. Jimmy Goins gets the win for the South and Brett Scarcelli takes the loss for the West.
Fall Ball allows players to experiment playing other positions before the regular season, love seeing this! Dane Driscol made some awesome plays tonight at Shortstop; Ramone Medina, Jeremy Craig and Kevin Francis got innings at catcher.
Brent Parker got back on the mound, but more impressive was his 3 singles. Congrats to Huey Contreras for his first hit in the CKABA Fall Baseball league.

It wasn't the field of dreams but it was the 60+ division battling the heat at the Elizabethtown Sports Park. The Grays were victorious again as the Sluggers fell for the third straight game. The Grays playing with a smaller roster this fall as compared to the summer league has capitalized especially at the plate. Fewer players means more at-bats for a star-studded line up at every position.
The Sluggers have 15 players and nearly all show and play each game. Fall Ball is more about developmetnt, but the competition is fierce and the players play hard. In the spring of 2027 the CKABA 60+ will be expanding to 4 teams (one more than last summer).
Slugger's manager, Jody Bingham "it was just like yesterday, we were playing game 3 of the 60+ CKABA World Series here at the park. We are in extra innings with an out recorded and a three run lead in the final inning, and we lost!" LOL
Getting back to the game tonight, the Grays would win the game 16-7. The grays got good pitching from Hutchinson, Ford and Brown. Ford loses the lead but the bats of the Gray's give him the win in the later innings. Brown comes out and closes the door in the last inning. The Sluggers pitching started Don Cutlip, then Lonnie Furnish and Brian Hayes finished. Give the pitching win to the Grays as the Sluggers walked over a dozen batters.
David Franco hits a home run for the Grays to lead them in hitting. Jody Bingham hits a home run for the Sluggers with 4 RBI's.
Next game on Sunday at Meade Olins 6 pm.

The Central Kentucky Adult Baseball Association was started off with a big blast today in 45+ Fall Ball. Abel Borrego keeps confirming his dominance in every position on the field, mound and at the plate. Borrego had towering home run in the first inning off of Jacob Walton that kept the East ahead of the West all night.
Brian Keller takes the win for the East but it was Borrego that was most impressive on the bump. For the West Walton, KiKi and Parker tried to contain the East but not today. Arturo and David Luege would combine walks and and a multi-hit game that kept the bases full of runners for the East.
For the West it was Jeff Lindzy with two doubles and Dane Driscoll with a pair of singles.
East beats the West 15-5 as Keller gets the W and Walton takes the loss; tomorrow Wednesday the E-town Sluggers go against the Louisville Grays 6 pm on field 10 and on Thursday the 45+ division is back in action on field 11. Come out and join the action.
